Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur is very centrally located in Kuala Lumpur. Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur is situated between the Petronas Towers and the Chinese night markets, in addition to its close proximity to excellent shopping.

My wife and my stay at Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur were wonderful! The room we had was extremely comfortable and had a magnificent view of the Petronas Towers. The staff was amazing. When we arrived to Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur , I soon found out that I had mistakenly booked for one night when I had meant to book for five. In talking with the manager we learned that the hotel was full. However, he did his best to help us solve the situation so that we would not have to change hotels, and he managed to arrange it so that we could keep our same room for all five nights. Beyond that, everyone was very courteous, friendly, and helpful.

In Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur, we ate one night at the bistro cafe in the hotel and the food was very, very good, and the staffs in the cafe were also very friendly and courteous. I also loved the complimentary fruit basket, bottled water and daily newspaper. Breakfast buffet was good, with food for every taste and need such as rice, halal meats, cereal, fruits, curry, eggs, hash browns, pastries etc.

A walking distance from the famous Bintang Walk, which is well-known for major shopping malls such as the Bukit Bintang Plaza, Lot 10, Starhill, Suria KLCC, it is also in the heart the city's various entertainment nightspots and financial district.

The Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur Review

Strategically located above The Mall Shopping Complex and opposite Putra World Trade Center (PWTC), The Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur is within the city main commercial district. After looking at many hotels in KL we booked this one. We stayed in one of the new "Legend Crest" executive rooms (only opened around 3 months ago apparently). This meant we also had access to the private check-in/dinning room just off the lobby area. Free drinks (alcoholic and otherwise) between 6-8pm and free tea and coffee all day were great.

The beds and sheets were clean and extremely comfortable, the rooms were clean and the view was great. The location was fantastic, with shops, food and the train right on the door step.

I arrived at night and had an excellent sleep. My bed was very comfortable and the room had a lovely view. The internet kept breaking down unfortunately. My bathroom was beautiful with marble everywhere. I could not fault the laundry and room service. Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur cleaning staff were friendly and efficient as was all of the staff there. It was a breeze to get to a destination and taxis were plentiful and very cheap.

The Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur room service food which I loved was just perfect with generous portions and tropical fruit in abundance. The hotel had a good gym and sauna and the pool was great too. The Malaysian companies’ office in the complex proved to be very interesting as were the shops and markets in the mall. Starbucks were there but coffee with out fresh milk took a little getting used to.

The Kuala Lumpur International Airport is 55 minutes drive and transportation services such as the KTM Komuter Station (PUTRA Station) and Rapid KL Ampang Line (PWTC Station) are virtually at the Hotel doorstep while the Monorail Station (Chow Kit) is only minutes away from the Hotel. Major tourist attractions such as KLCC is only 10 minutes away while getting around the city poses no hassle as a taxi stand is conveniently located at The Mall Shopping Complex.

Although not quite a 5 star hotel, Legend Hotel Kuala Lumpur was a great two night stay and I would recommend it to couples or families traveling

Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur Review

Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur is 1st Class throughout. The Concierge's staffs are extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms feature 42" flat screen TVs, rainwater showerheads and beautiful views of Kuala Lumpur. The executive lounge has a wide assortment of pastries, omelet station, waffles and pancakes as well as local foods. And you could make a meal out of the appetizers and drinks at night if you're too tired to eat out. But if you stay in the lobby and observe people coming and going you get the feel that this is a place frequented by the movers and shakers of Kuala Lumpur.

There is a small room refrigerator, ours was not cooling and it's the only thing that was wrong with the room. It was not important to us. All Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur staff was extremely courteous, helpful and friendly. Internet was fairly priced, with a discount of a 7 day package offered. Internet was speedy as well, over 1Mbit.

KL Sentral being across the road is very convenient.....especially the quick journey to and from the airport! The hotel staff will meet you at the airport and take your luggage to the train and when you get to the station, they will whisk you and the luggage to Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The Blue taxis from the hotel (Premier) are very nice and cost around RM5.00-8.00 more. Or you can just walk across and catch a cab from KL Sentral. A great thing about that is there is a Taxi Coupon system so saves you having to bargain!

I will go back there anytime without a doubt. Hilton Hotel Kuala Lumpur location is perfect, just across the road from central station-makes traveling anywhere really easy. Even though it’s across the road hotel still dropped me off to the station with their executive shuttle.

Shangri-La Hotel has definately got a prime location, the bars, restaurants and clubs are on your doorstep. Turn left and 5 min walk is the monorail which is the only way to get around Kuala Lumpur (KL). It is extremely cheap and very frequent, it is also clean.. read more..

Swiss-Garden Hotel Kuala Lumpur is strategically located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur between bustling Bukit Bintang and colorful Chinatown. Set in the heart of the Golden Triangle, the Swiss Garden Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia is within convenient access to major shopping centers.

We arrived at 6am and the room was ready for us at 7am, the lovely girl on the desk directed us to street hawker area opposite for breakfast while they made up the room and this introduced us to the best area for authentic/cheap food for our stay (keep a look out for the duck, they sell a lot of this so its fresh and tasty).

Rooms in Swiss-Garden Hotel were clean other than the usual bit of mould in the shower tiles. Good air-cond that you could actually set and get the temp right! Room service was quick with filling the ice bucket and our teenager loved the banana splits.

Our family was coming back from Singapore in the evening, and we settled in very nicely into the Swiss-Garden Hotel. The parking was a little cramped but multi-leveled, the rooms were nice and spacious. The buffet was pretty nice in the morning especially the orange juice. The great thing about this hotel is its location in downtown and being able to reach most things

The guestrooms are complete with room service, air-condition, television, room deposit box, mini bar, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities and daily newspaper.

Recently had two visits at the Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur and enjoyed the Orchid Club room. I would recommend this additional expense as the rooms and staffs on this floor are excellent. Paid a bit extra for Orchid Club and it is worth every cent. As usual, the staffs at this hotel were wonderful especially Orchid Club staff.

The room was wonderful and had a great view of the street activity, Sungei Wang Mall entrance and the hotel pool. The breakfast selection was great but the eggs, sausages etc. were not hot. The gym was one of the best my husband has encountered at any hotel. the Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur staffs were all great.

The Parkroyal Kuala Lumpur is in an excellent location being very close to all the shopping centres and the monorail. Within easy access of Kuala Lumpur Airport, the Grand Plaza Parkroyal hotel is also the ideal base from which to visit numerous Kuala Lumpur sights including Merdeka Square, with the world's tallest flagpole, Masjid Jamek, Kuala Lumpur's oldest mosque, Chinatown, the Lake Gardens and the nearby Orchid Garden. I would recommend to anyone wanting a convenient stop over by all the major malls and monorail.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur (formerly Mutiara Hotel Kuala Lumpur) is situated on a beautifully landscaped 5-hectare hillside offering a panoramic view over Kuala Lumpur. The Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur is strategically located in the banking and commercial district of Kuala Lumpur and within walking distance of the main shopping and entertainment areas.

Only a five minute walk away are the brand new Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the world famous Petronas Twin Towers, Suria KLCC shopping centre and Kuala Lumpur's hottest nightspots on the streets of Jalan P Ramlee & Bukit Bintang. A monorail station at the entrance of the hotel ensures quick access to other parts of KL.

Breakfast - nice choice, the waitresses are nice and helpful. Lots of nice fruits in my breakfast menu and i love it. The quality of the cooked foods, however, was not that impressing, very average. I will admit, I was a bit put-off by the hotel's old-looking exterior but I was extremely pleased upon checking into my room. It appears the entire hotel was renovated so the rooms look new and contemporary. The beds were nice and firm and the amenities were generous.

The Crowne Plaza Hotel Kuala Lumpur is near the monorail which is great, and a short walk from the Pavillion and/or Bukit Bintang, so very convenient location wise. Overall I did not like this hotel. There is no attention to detail, the staff does not try hard enough and on top of that, in my opinion the hotel is oldish and some areas need refurbishing

The hotel is located at a central location and almost all shopping centres, restaurants etc are at walking distance. The services that the hotel offers are excellent, the staff were very friendly. It is connected with the Ritz through a designer shopping area over several floors, so its always an attractive scene. There is an underground food court, hosting a wide range of cuisines and live music at the bar.

The hotel offers in-room massage services for excellent prices, so you could relax after a long day of sightseeing and shopping. The standard of the rooms is excellent!! everything a person needs, internet access, great tv channels, toiletries, bathrobe, slippers, safe, hair dyer, iron, complimentary tea/coffee/ water bottles/ biscuits etc.

Another thing is the traffic in front of the hotel at peak hours. Don't try to take a taxi from the entrance of your hotel because you will still be at the same spot about a while! Overall, we had a great stay and will definitely stay at this hotel again in my next trip to KL.

Upon arrival at noon, we were informed that our room was not ready, but that we would be upgraded to a suite "because the hotel doesn't like to keep its guests waiting."

In my experience, The Ritz-Carlton Kuala Lumpur is a place like no other. Most of the time we hear pharses like "can i help you, sir" but at Ritz-Carlton you will be showered with " i will be glad if i can help you sir" at Ritz-Carlton satisfaction for the service of a five-star hotel is undoubtly fufiled.

I stayed at The Ritz Carlton KL for two nights and I really enjoyed my stay. The service was good. There is a gourmet shop nearby called Carlton Gourmet, where you can have something to eat and drink. The interior of the hotel is nice. I love the white wood panelling - it's quite European. Clean room, linens etc.

The location is very good. It is just about 4 minutes walk to the newest shopping mall in Kuala Lumpur - Pavillion. There are three good hotels nearby - Westin, Marriott and Millenium (there is a new hot nightclub called The Pulse in this hotel with a good live band and big screens showing sports). There is also a few shopping malls around - Star Hill (Bukit Bintang upmarket), Lot 10 and Sungai Wang Plaza. All within 4-8 mins walk.

Will definitely stay at The Ritz Carlton again.

I stayed at the Traders Hotel while I was in KL for a conference. The location was perfect, being attached to the conference centre, but also because it is in the centre of everything - walking distance to all the good shopping malls (and there are a lot of those), and a fabulous view of the Petronas Twin Towers (KLCC)

The rooftop bar and pool is spectacular - almost too good, in fact, as I spent every night up there and didn't go to any of the other apparently cool places to eat and drink in the city.

All the conference and function rooms provided by the property feature state-of-the-art audio-visual equipment and are suitable for organizing various events. Furthermore, the health club and spa, located on the hotel's rooftop, is a serenely beautiful and peaceful space for rest and relaxation to rejuvenate the body, mind and spirit.

The staffs were incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful, from checking in to checking out. I would highly recommend a club room, for both the bigger room and the fantastic breakfast in the club. The Gobo Chit Chat Restaurant is a vibrant and trendy all day dining spot offering creative international and Asian dishes. The Sky Bar, an open-air pavilion perched on the hotel's roof, appears to almost float in the clouds and boasts some of the finest views in all of Kuala Lumpur.

Overall, a great stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone.

Shangri-La Hotel has definately got a prime location, the bars, restaurants and clubs are on your doorstep. Turn left and 5 min walk is the monorail which is the only way to get around Kuala Lumpur (KL). It is extremely cheap and very frequent, it is also clean. We stayed here for 4 nights and stayed in an executive room. The room was large and very nice. The view from the room was excellant especially at night. It is a short walk to the KL tower and the Petronas Towers. As said breakfasts are great and the largest choice you are likely to find. We found the service at the hotel exceptional. There is building work going on but it didn't bother us or affect our stay at all. It is well away from the areas we used.

There are ATM (Auto Teller Mechine) directly opposite the hotel. If you turn left out of the hotel past Bukit Nanas station and come to a crossroads turn left here and continue up for a while to Chinatown. Here you will find an array of street eateries and stalls, we had an amazing meal at a very basic place on the street. It was the real deal as far as chinese food goes. The best meal we had during our stay was at Asian Heritage Row which is two stops up on the monorail, we ate at Mezza Notte, highly recommend, the portions were huge and they treat you like royalty. Very good quality food, afterwards we went to a few of the bars there. It is one road with really nice bars and restaurants, no tackiness in sight.

The Kuala Lumpur Bird Park is a must, is is a huge place with freeflying birds and you get to see the most exotic birds in beautiful surroundings. If you want to see the lake though at Lake Gardens it may still be shut, they were working on it whilst we were there and had pretty much emptied it for cleaning work etc. We also went to Kuala Gandah one day which is about an hour and a half drive to the elephant sanctuary, an excellant day out.

In KL if you go there to shop you will be in retail heaven, get the monorail down to Bukit Bintang and be prepared for huge shopping malls. All in all a great stay in a fantastic hotel.
